A Life of Courage and Compassion
Dr. Kelly Powers, a physician, surgeon, and Fox News contributor, passed away on December 1, 2024, at age 45. She leaves behind her husband, Steven Doll, and their three-year-old son, Bennett.
In 2020, Powers was diagnosed with glioblastoma after collapsing in her apartment. Reflecting on the moment, she wrote, “I cannot believe I’m actually writing this… I was diagnosed with a BRAIN TUMOR.” She underwent three brain surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy while maintaining her optimism and faith.
Despite her struggles, she and her husband welcomed their son via surrogacy in 2021. Powers celebrated his birth on Instagram, calling it “a new adventure as a family of 3.”
Her cancer returned in early 2024, prompting her family to seek cutting-edge treatment in Germany. Though a GoFundMe raised $88,009, Powers succumbed to the disease.
Friends and family recall her as “a brave and beautiful soul.” Her obituary celebrates her vibrant life, her passion for helping others, and her devotion to her family.
