Ramipril Blood Pressure Medication Recalled

If you take Ramipril for blood pressure, check your medication immediately. Approximately 600,000 bottles of Ramipril capsules (2.5 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg) are being recalled due to concerns over contamination linked to an unregulated manufacturer in India.

Ramipril, prescribed for hypertension and post-heart attack care, works by opening blood vessels and reducing heart pressure. While the FDA believes the risk is low and no adverse effects have been reported, they advise caution.
