In her book *The Future I Saw*, she warned of a seabed crack between Japan and the Philippines that could trigger waves three times higher than the 2011 Tohoku earthquake. Given her past correct predictions—including Freddie Mercury’s death and the 2011 disaster—many travelers are taking her warnings seriously.
Tourism to Japan has reportedly declined, with bookings from China, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Vietnam dropping significantly. Greater Bay Airlines has already reduced flights to Japan due to decreased demand, citing both Tatsuki’s predictions and Donald Trump’s tariff policies as contributing factors. While skeptics remain, Tatsuki’s track record has left many reconsidering summer travel plans to the region.
