Leavitt defended Trump’s focus on passing the bill, calling it historic legislation that benefits middle-class families and fulfills his campaign promises. She noted that Musk had previously praised Trump’s leadership but suggested his recent remarks were driven by business interests. The press secretary emphasized Trump’s commitment to the country’s priorities over personal disputes. Epstein, who died in jail in 2019, was awaiting trial for sex trafficking at the time of his death.
