Donald Trump launches scathing attack after new poll showed what US really thinks of him 5 months into presidency
Former President Donald Trump has dismissed a recent Fox News poll as “fake” after it showed mixed public approval of his performance. The survey revealed that only 46% approve of his immigration policies, while 53% disapprove. Similarly, just 43% support his foreign policy approach. Trump criticized the poll on Truth Social, accusing Fox News of long-standing bias and inaccuracy, despite the network’s 53% approval rating for his border security efforts.
Trump defended his record, claiming the U.S. border is now “perfect” under his administration, contrasting it with Biden’s policies. He also attacked Fox News for relying on what he called an “incompetent” polling company. The poll, based on responses from 1,003 registered voters, highlighted divisions over Trump’s economic and immigration policies. While some results were unfavorable, Trump remains defiant, dismissing negative findings as unreliable. Fox News has not yet responded to his claims.
