Men Brutally Attack Officer On Death’s Door, Police Car Door Opens And Releases K-9
A heroic K9 from Mississippi saved his partner, Deputy Todd Frazier, during an ambush attack. Deputy Frazier was assaulted and threatened with a box cutter by three suspects. They intended to harm him further by dragging him into the woods.
Lucas, the Belgian Malinois K9, intervened, chasing off the assailants before they could carry out their threat. Frazier managed to activate the vehicle’s door release button, setting Lucas free. Lucas bit at least one, possibly two, of the attackers, leaving them with injuries.
Sherriff Ricky Adam reported that Lucas had blood on him, indicating his involvement in stopping the assailants. The attack happened when Frazier stopped to inspect a parked car at a rest stop. As he approached, two individuals emerged from the woods, initiating the assault.
Sherriff Adam recounted the incident, highlighting how it escalated once Frazier stepped out of his vehicle. Thanks to Lucas’s swift action, Deputy Frazier’s life was saved, and a manhunt ensued for the perpetrators.
