Marco Rubio Issues Massive
The U.S. State Department is initiating a significant “America First” rebranding of its global operations. This effort will unify the visual identity for all U.S. embassies, bureaus, and programs overseas.
The central change involves replacing various existing logos with a single, consistent design. This new branding will prominently feature the American flag to improve visibility.
According to Acting Undersecretary Darren Beattie, the goal is to create a cohesive look. This will ensure American contributions abroad are immediately recognizable.
Beattie explained that the previous lack of a unified identity was problematic. Often, international efforts were not clearly associated with the U.S. government.
The State Department issued official guidelines for this rebranding on Wednesday. This action follows a major organizational shift.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that USAID would no longer provide foreign assistance. Its remaining functions are now absorbed by the State Department.
All departments must adopt the new American flag branding by October 1. This forms part of the most significant State Department restructuring since the Cold War.
