People spot ‘embarrassing’ detail during cabinet meeting but others believe it could have a sinister meaning
During a recent White House cabinet meeting, President Trump appeared to doze off. The lengthy meeting, which was broadcast publicly, covered various topics including immigration and drug trafficking.
Prior to this moment, Trump criticized journalists for questioning his health. He contrasted his frequent press interactions with President Biden’s more limited engagements.
A significant online discussion, however, focused on a typo on an official nameplate. The placard for Secretary of War Pete Hegseth mistakenly read “SSECRETARY OF WAR.”
While some online speculated about the extra “S,” it was likely a simple printing error. The White House has not publicly commented on the mistake.
Social media users also noted Trump’s apparent nap, dubbing him nicknames like “Dozy Don.” The meeting lasted over two hours.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended the president. She stated he was “listening attentively” during the long meeting.
This incident marks the third time recently Trump has been accused of sleeping during official meetings. The combination of the typo and his demeanor became a focal point for online commentary.
