Trump blasts ‘traitor’ Marjorie Taylor Greene in scathing rant after explosive 60 Minutes interview
Former close allies Donald Trump and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene have publicly and bitterly split. Trump recently withdrew his endorsement of Greene on Truth Social, criticizing her as a constant complainer.
He suggested the rift began when he shared polling showing her weak standing for higher office without his support. Trump further denounced Greene as a “ranting lunatic.” Shortly after these attacks, Greene announced her resignation from Congress.
Greene then gave a candid interview to CBS’s 60 Minutes. She claimed fellow Republicans privately fear Trump’s social media reprisals, leading them to feign loyalty.
She accused colleagues of previously mocking Trump and her support for him, only to opportunistically embrace him after his primary victory.
In response, Trump launched another Truth Social tirade. He insultingly called her “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown” and claimed she turned against him after being “JILTED.”
He dismissed her ideas as “really BAD” and questioned her intelligence and commitment to the “MAGA” movement. Trump also criticized the network for airing the interview.
The very public feud marks a dramatic fall from grace for Greene, once a staunch Trump defender, now facing his intense scorn as she exits the House.
