Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco share Christmas card but people are distracted by one detail

The Monaco royal family has shared their official 2025 Christmas card, embracing the festive spirit. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene posed with their eleven-year-old twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques.

The photograph features the family beside a crackling fireplace with a decorated tree. Prince Albert and Jacques wore matching navy suits, while Charlene and Gabriella sat before them in a taupe gown and pink tulle dress, respectively.

Courtiers shared the image on social media with season’s greetings from the Princely Family. However, the attention was swiftly captured by a non-royal member in the portrait.

The show was stolen by the family’s pet Chihuahua, Harley. The small dog sat calmly beside Princess Charlene and Princess Gabriella in the formal picture.

Online fans were delighted by Harley’s inclusion. Commenters praised the dog’s poised demeanor and central placement in the family photo.

This is not Harley’s first appearance in the annual card; he debuted in 2019. He also frequently accompanies Princess Charlene on official public engagements.

Recently, the princess brought Harley to a solidarity walk for animal protection. Her role as President of Monaco’s animal welfare society sees her advocating against pet abandonment, often with her canine companion by her side.
