Donald Trump slammed after hanging plaques mocking Obama and Biden in White House

The White House has added controversial plaques beneath presidential portraits in its “Walk of Fame,” offering sharply critical summaries of some former leaders. These descriptions, personally written by Donald Trump according to his press secretary, target his predecessors.

Barack Obama’s plaque labels him “one of the most divisive political figures.” It criticizes his signature healthcare law and accuses him of a stagnant economy, a bad Iran deal, and weakness that allowed ISIS to spread and Russia to seize Crimea.

Joe Biden is insulted as “Sleepy Joe” and called the “worst President.” The plaque alleges a corrupt election and blames him for high inflation, a lost border, a humiliating Afghanistan withdrawal, and emboldening adversaries like Russia and Hamas.

In stark contrast, plaques for Republican presidents are flattering. Ronald Reagan is praised as a “Great Communicator” and noted as a Trump fan. Richard Nixon is credited with a great political comeback and a large electoral victory.

Trump’s own plaque boasts of overcoming “unprecedented weaponization of law enforcement” and assassination attempts. It claims he has delivered a “Golden Age,” ended wars, secured borders, and deported gang members.

The plaques have drawn widespread condemnation. Critics, including California Governor Gavin Newsom, call the move petty and a distraction. Others describe it as juvenile, embarrassing, and a sign of Trump’s insecurity.

The display is seen as an official attempt to defame political rivals while glorifying Trump’s own legacy, turning a presidential gallery into a platform for personal grievances and partisan revisionism.
