Jeffrey Epstein introduced Donald Trump to girl, 14, court document claims
The recent release of court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein contains minimal reference to former President Donald Trump. Among the hundreds of thousands of pages, his name appears only sparingly.
One unveiled court filing from a 2020 lawsuit alleges an incident in the 1990s. It claims Epstein introduced a 14-year-old girl to Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
According to the document, Epstein elbowed Trump and said of the girl, “This is a good one, right?” The filing states Trump smiled and nodded, and both men chuckled.
The girl, identified as Jane Doe, felt uncomfortable but was too young to understand why. The lawsuit involved allegations against Epstein’s estate and Ghislaine Maxwell.
The victim made no accusations of wrongdoing against Trump in this filing. Her separate civil case was settled, and she testified at Maxwell’s 2021 criminal trial.
Trump has consistently denied any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes. He states they had a falling out long before Epstein’s 2019 arrest.
Other famous figures are named in the files without evidence of wrongdoing. The documents are being released in carefully redacted batches to protect victims and investigations.
