Following the release of numerous previously unseen Epstein-related photos, Bill Clinton issues a response
Former President Bill Clinton has responded to newly released photographs from the Jeffrey Epstein case. The images, made public by the Department of Justice, include shots of Clinton with Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and others, sparking intense online debate.
A spokesperson for Clinton accused the White House of using the former president as a “scapegoat.” The statement suggested the files were released late on a Friday to shift attention away from the current administration.
The viral photos show Clinton in various social settings, including in a pool and at a dinner. White House officials amplified the discussion by sharing one image on social media with suggestive captions.
Clinton’s spokesperson emphasized he cut ties with Epstein years before the financier’s crimes were publicly known. They also noted Clinton never visited Epstein’s private island.
The document release, mandated by Congress, includes nearly 600,000 pages of material. Beyond the photos, it contains disturbing imagery and early victim complaints, though appearance in the files does not imply wrongdoing.
The records feature numerous high-profile figures. Donald Trump is mentioned sparingly, with one unverified allegation he met a minor through Epstein, which he denies.
Investigations continue, as both Bill and Hillary Clinton are scheduled to give depositions to the House Oversight Committee next month regarding their Epstein connections.
