After Victoria, 34, is found dead, Tommy Lee Jones finally addresses the tragedy
The family of actor Tommy Lee Jones is mourning the sudden death of his daughter, Victoria Kafka Jones, at age 34. In a statement, they expressed gratitude for the support received and requested privacy.
Victoria was discovered on the morning of January 1, 2026, in a hallway on the 14th floor of San Francisco’s Fairmont Hotel. The San Francisco Police Department and hotel staff are cooperating in the ongoing investigation.
Authorities responded to a 911 call just before 3:00 AM after a guest expressed concern. Emergency radio traffic indicated a high-priority response for a possible overdose, noting a “color change” often associated with cyanosis.
Despite attempts at CPR by first responders and bystanders, Victoria was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators found no drug paraphernalia, trauma, or immediate signs of foul play or suicide.
The police confirmed their response and the Medical Examiner’s on-site investigation. The Fairmont Hotel expressed deep sadness and offered condolences, confirming full cooperation with authorities.
Victoria is survived by her father, her mother Kimberlea Coughley, and her brother Austin. Her parents were married for 15 years following her birth in 1991.
