Trump Draws Attention to a Strength Biden Has That He Admits He Doesn’t Have
In a recent interview on Fox News’s *The Ingraham Angle*, former President Donald Trump offered an unexpected, though brief, compliment to his political rival, President Joe Biden.
Host Laura Ingraham asked Trump about his late-night habits. Trump admitted he sometimes struggles to fall back asleep, contrasting this with Biden’s ability.
He described Biden quickly falling asleep on a beach cot, calling it “the only thing I totally admired.” Trump expressed genuine, if amused, astonishment at this skill, stating, “I could never do that.”
This momentary praise was short-lived. Trump swiftly returned to criticizing Biden’s presidency as a “disaster” and defended his own limited sleep.
He suggested that passionate, hardworking people often sleep less, noting he famously functioned on four to five hours nightly while president.
Trump has previously mocked Biden’s beach vacations, including at a 2023 Iowa rally, questioning the time spent there despite acknowledging a different physical comparison.
The exchange highlights a fleeting moment of personal admiration set within Trump’s ongoing political criticisms, contrasting their public personas through the lens of sleep habits and leisure time.
@foxnews Say what you want about former President Biden, but his ability to sleep is unmatched, according to President Trump.
