Audience Stunned After Joy Behar Takes a Tumble on ‘The View’

Joy Behar’s recent fall on “The View” added unexpected excitement to the show. Despite upgraded seating for comfort, the 80-year-old comedian had an unplanned tumble, resulting in a humorous incident. Reflecting on the mishap, Behar quipped, “Remember when I fell on stage here? My tush missed the seat.”

Whoopi Goldberg shared her perspective, emphasizing the audience’s limited view compared to the hosts. She remarked, “We saw you trying to figure out how not to fall onto the floor, and that was scary because you don’t know whether to catch you and potentially bother you by touching you.”
In typical fashion, Behar humorously likened her workplace to an amusement park, comparing the moving chairs to a ride at Coney Island. As a result of her fall, new safety features were introduced, including stationary chairs with tall legs and a square seat. Displaying the upgraded seats, Behar showcased the show’s commitment to preventing similar incidents. Goldberg humorously added, “They’re not new to my behind because my behind doesn’t fit in this chair, as I’ve mentioned many times.”

Earlier in the week, Goldberg defended Behar after co-host Ana Navarro claimed that Bill Geddie, the late co-creator of “The View,” both hired and fired Behar. Despite the mishap, Joy Behar’s incident brought humor and camaraderie to “The View,” ensuring it continues to entertain its audience.
