Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s 19-year-old daughter Shiloh has officially begun using her new name after legally removing “Pitt” from her surname last year. The change came on her 18th birthday in May 2024, with Shiloh reportedly hiring her own attorney for the process. The move follows years of family tension stemming from Jolie’s 2016 divorce filing, which included abuse allegations that child services later cleared.
Shiloh recently debuted her preferred nickname “Shi” during a May 29 performance at Isabel Marant’s Los Angeles event. Credited simply as “Shi” for her choreography work, the young adult appears to be embracing her new identity publicly. The name change marks another chapter in the high-profile family’s ongoing story, coming eight years after Jolie first filed for divorce citing a 2016 plane incident involving Pitt and one of their six children.
