“Golden Bachelor” Pair Split After Three Months
Gerry Turner, 74, and Theresa Nist, 70, from “The Golden Bachelor” have decided to part ways. They made the announcement on Good Morning America.
“We’ve come to the conclusion mutually that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage,” Turner told Juju Chang.
“We’ve received so much love and support from many who watched ‘The Golden Bachelor.’ We want none of that to change,” Nist added.
Turner proposed to Nist during the show’s finale and they wed at the start of the year. Despite efforts to reconcile, they found they were too committed to their families to relocate.
“We both think it’s best for our happiness to live apart,” Turner explained.
Though separated, they cherish their shared memories. “I still love this person. I still am in love with her. I root for her every day,” Turner expressed, echoed by Nist’s sentiment towards him.
