Melania Trump revealed how Trump disciplines Barron in resurfaced interview
In 2011, Melania Trump appeared on *The Mommy Helper Show*, discussing family life with host Sherrina Navani. At the time, Donald Trump was a businessman, and their son Barron was five years old.
The interview, recently unearthed, focused on Melania’s parenting approach. She described the Trump family as an average, though wealthy, household that handled parenting in a typical manner.
Melania identified herself as a disciplinarian but noted her husband shared that role actively. She stated he was particularly strict about certain principles for their son.
“No drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes, work hard and play hard,” Melania recounted of Donald Trump’s expectations. She added that Barron would “learn more in the future.”
Emphasizing hands-on involvement, Melania believed children need attention and want their mother present. She described motherhood as centered on “unconditional love, and just time, and love.”
She also expressed joy in her son’s energy and laughter. Melania’s prediction about Barron’s learning has proven accurate, as she later noted his growth.
In a December 2023 Fox & Friends appearance, Melania praised Barron, now 19, for his technological knowledge and political understanding, noting he even advises his father.
