Donald Trump’s right hand woman says he’s in Epstein files but explains why
White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, in an interview with Vanity Fair, addressed former President Donald Trump’s inclusion in the Jeffrey Epstein documents. Wiles confirmed Trump appears in the files but stated he is not implicated in any wrongdoing.
She described their past association, noting the two men were once “young, single playboys together.” Wiles mentioned Trump was on Epstein’s plane manifests, reflecting their social circles at the time.
Trump has long maintained his friendship with Epstein ended around 2004. The recently released documents contain various names and records, though many entries are unrelated to Epstein’s crimes.
Wiles also corrected a claim previously made by Trump regarding former President Bill Clinton. Trump had alleged Clinton visited Epstein’s island frequently.
Contradicting this, Wiles clarified there is “no evidence” that Bill Clinton ever visited Epstein’s private island. She directly stated, “The president was wrong about that.”
The chief of staff offered candid insights into Trump’s personality, describing him as having “an alcoholic’s personality” and a belief “there’s nothing he can’t do.” Wiles made history this January as the first woman to hold the role of White House Chief of Staff.
Her comments provide a rare behind-the-scenes perspective on the administration and its handling of sensitive historical associations. The interview underscores the ongoing scrutiny of figures linked to Epstein following the release of thousands of pages of documents.
