Over 60 new photos from Epstein estate have been released

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released 68 new images from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate on December 18. This batch, partially redacted with some faces obscured, represents the latest in a series of recent document releases by Congressional Democrats.

The images include a variety of materials, such as building plans, passports, and photographs. Among the pictures are depictions of Epstein himself, alongside notable figures like Bill Gates and Noam Chomsky. The committee provided no accompanying context for the released images.

It is important to clarify that these photographs are not the comprehensive “Epstein files” long awaited by the public. Those anticipated files are expected to contain thousands of documents, including flight logs, emails, and internal Justice Department communications.

Several of the newly released images are particularly unsettling. They show handwritten messages on a person’s body, which appear to be quotes from Vladimir Nabokov’s controversial novel *Lolita*. A copy of the book is visible in one photograph.

One quote, written on a foot, reads, “she was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock.” Other messages include, “she was Lola in slacks,” and “she was Polly at school.” The novel’s subject matter concerns a man’s obsession with a 12-year-old girl.

A substantial number of documents related to Epstein are already publicly available. This existing trove includes his contact book, client lists, and photographs of his private island, among other items.

This image release provides a minor update, but the full scope of evidence remains undisclosed. Further developments are expected as the congressional inquiry continues.
