Barron Trump Reportedly Intervened to Prevent an Attack on a Woman – Details Inside
Barron Trump has been described as an unexpected hero in a London assault trial. His actions reportedly helped stop an alleged attack after he witnessed the incident during a brief video call.
The case at Snaresbrook Crown Court involves a woman who was allegedly assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, Matvei Rumianstev, in January of last year. Prosecutors say the attack was motivated by his jealousy over her friendship with Barron.
During the trial, a 999 emergency call from the United States was played. An urgent voice, believed to be Barron’s, informed the operator a woman was “getting beaten up” and provided her London address, stressing it was “really an emergency.”
The FaceTime call lasted only seconds, but Barron stated he saw the ceiling, heard screams, and witnessed a man striking the woman. He explained calling authorities was the best course of action, as calling back would have worsened the situation.
Upon arrival, police bodycam footage shows the woman identifying her friend as “Barron Trump—Donald Trump’s son.” Officers later had her call Barron, who confirmed he had alerted authorities.
In courtroom testimony, the woman credited Barron with saving her life. The defense argued the assault did not happen, suggesting the call had little impact, but the woman maintained her account.
Barron, a university student, remains largely private. The London jury continues to deliberate, considering whether his remote intervention was indeed lifesaving.
