Barbra Streisand says she ‘can’t live in this country’ if this happens
Barbra Streisand recently defended Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on social media, accusing conservatives of trying to tarnish Willis’s public image through her private life. Streisand criticized Republicans for wanting Willis fired over her private relationship with Nathan Wade, a prosecutor she hired for the Trump investigation.
“How silly that the Republicans want to have Fani Willis fired. For what? Thinking a woman can’t have a private life as well as a professional one? Men do it all the time! How ridiculous is this?” Streisand wrote.
She argued that attacks on Willis are distractions from the real issue: “Trump and his allies are attacking fans Willis the DA who is prosecuting him for attempting to overthrow the will of the voters in Georgia.”
Streisand emphasized that Willis’s relationship has no bearing on the case’s facts, describing the criticism as “just another diversion by Trump” from his attempts to influence Georgia’s 2020 election results.
