Her path to marriage took a surprising turn when she met Michael Sloan, her future husband, while working on “Alfred Hitchcock Presents.” Despite a prior relationship with Frank Sinatra Jr., Anderson found lasting love with Sloan, a producer she later married.

After tying the knot, Anderson stepped back from acting to focus on family life. She and Sloan welcomed two children, Piper and Griffin, into their quiet Southern California home.

Reflecting on her decision to prioritize family, Anderson cited Michael Landon’s example, emphasizing the importance of shielding children from the spotlight. Now adults, her children have forged their paths outside of Hollywood, thriving in their chosen professions.
