My Husband Demanded a Sixth Child or Threatened Divorce – After My Lesson, He Begged for Forgiveness on His Knees
Demand for Sixth Child
My husband, Danny, a devoted father and successful businessman, recently demanded we have a sixth child—a son to carry on the family name. Already parents to five daughters, I was taken aback by his ultimatum. “Lisa, we NEED to have a sixth child,” he insisted, his tone cold. When I refused, he hinted at divorce: “Are you saying you’d leave me if I don’t give you a son?” I was stunned by his disregard for our current family and realized I had to make him understand.
Lesson in Reality
The next morning, I left early, heading to my late mother’s house and turning off my phone. Danny was left to manage our five daughters alone. I watched via surveillance cameras as he struggled. Breakfast was a disaster, and the kids ran wild. “Emma, stop running! Jessica, put your shoes on!” he shouted. Overwhelmed and frazzled, he was forced to stay home from work, juggling house chores and the children’s needs.
Desperation and Realization
By the end of the second day, Danny was at his breaking point, sending desperate messages begging me to return. “My angel, please, I can’t do this alone.” He even recorded a video, on his knees, asking for forgiveness. Realizing he needed me, I decided to go back.
A New Understanding
When I returned, Danny rushed to me, apologizing profusely. “I won’t pressure you about having a son anymore,” he promised, vowing to be more present with our family. True to his word, he became more involved, helping with homework, attending events, and even learning to braid hair. Danny’s newfound appreciation for our family brought us closer, and he never mentioned having another child again. Our home filled with joy and laughter as he cherished the family we already had.
