My MIL Intentionally Sent Me Faded Flowers for My Birthday with a Nasty Note
Emily has always had a strained relationship with her mother-in-law, Denise, who never approved of her. On Emily’s 29th birthday, with her husband Evan away on a business trip, Denise took the opportunity to send Emily a cruel message. Denise sent her a wilting bouquet with a note that read, “This is what will happen to your marriage to Evan. It will wither and die. You don’t deserve him.”
Devastated, Emily was consoled when Evan unexpectedly returned home. Seeing the cruel gift, Evan was furious and determined to teach his mother a lesson.
