Queen Camilla spotted with rarely-seen sister during latest public appearance

Queen Camilla was joined by her sister, Annabel Elliot, at the Elephant Family conservation event in London’s Kew Gardens on May 13. Annabel, an interior designer and mother of Tory politician Ben Elliot, rarely appears publicly but has openly praised her sister’s resilience and humor. In a recent interview, she described Camilla as a “strong character” with a “really good sense of humor,” recalling how they often struggled to contain their laughter in serious settings like church.

Annabel also shed light on Camilla’s marriage to King Charles, calling it a “huge friendship” built on mutual support and loyalty. She revealed that while they occasionally argue—especially over Charles’ reluctance to rest during his cancer treatment—their shared humor keeps them bonded. The event, hosted by the NGO founded by Camilla’s late brother Mark Shand, highlighted the royal family’s commitment to wildlife conservation.
