A man awakens with little bubbles on his finger
Peter woke to find his thumb dotted with strange bubbles. Concerned, he visited a doctor, who reacted urgently, then called the police. Panicked, Peter broke out of the room to confront a group of grim-faced doctors. He feared the worst.
Thinking back, Peter recalled his excitement for a date. But those plans shattered when he noticed the odd holes on his thumb. With resolve, he grabbed tweezers and probed the area, knowing he couldn’t ignore it. Worried, he visited the doctor, suspecting a recent forest hike might be the cause, or perhaps his online date was somehow involved.
The doctor’s tests revealed a serious problem. Peter’s thumb, once tingling, was now numb, unresponsive even to prodding. Despite inconclusive results, Peter agreed to further investigation. Eventually, they discovered an invasive plant species as the culprit, swiftly eradicated by law enforcement.
Relieved, Peter recovered within a month, able to return to his normal life, grateful to have avoided a more dire outcome.
