Laura’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman
Laura’s Instructions
Laura’s dishwasher broke, so she called a repairman. Since she had work the next day, she left instructions: “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you a check.” She also warned, “Don’t worry about my bulldog, Bob. But, whatever you do, do NOT, under ANY circumstances, talk to my parrot!”
The Repairman Arrives
The repairman arrived and saw the biggest, meanest-looking bulldog he had ever seen. True to Laura’s word, Bob just lay there watching him work.
The Parrot’s Torment
However, the parrot drove him crazy with its constant yelling, cursing, and name-calling. Finally, the repairman lost his temper and shouted, “Shut up, you stupid, ugly bird!”
The Parrot’s Revenge
The parrot immediately responded, “Get him, Bob!”
