Teen’s Surprise Porsche Shocks Parents
Imagine the shock when a 17-year-old Pizza Hut worker arrived home in a stunning Porsche. His part-time job couldn’t possibly cover such a luxury, so his parents demanded an explanation. “Where did you get that car?” they asked.
“I bought it today,” the teen replied casually.
Young man, with what money? You can’t afford a Porsche!” his mother exclaimed. He clarified, “Well, it’s used, and I got a good deal. I just paid $20 for this one.”
“Who on earth would sell a car like that for $20?” his mother asked, shocked.
“The woman up the street,” the boy explained. “She moved in recently. After I delivered her pizza, she asked if I’d like to buy a Porsche for $20.”
Curious and indignant, the parents rushed to the neighbor’s house. The father approached her and said, “I’m the father of the kid you sold a sports car to for $20. You must provide an explanation.”
The woman calmly responded, “This morning, I received a call from my husband. I thought he was in Florida for work, but it turns out he’s in Hawaii with his secretary and isn’t coming back.”
“What does that have to do with selling our son a Porsche for $20?” the mother asked, perplexed.
