“My Heart Is Broken Today”: Cara Delevingne’s Los Angeles Home Destroyed in Fire
Actress and model Cara Delevingne’s Los Angeles home fell victim to a destructive fire early Friday morning, leaving two individuals injured. The Los Angeles Fire Department swiftly responded to the Studio City residence in the Hollywood Hills just before 4 a.m., encountering heavy flames at the rear of the house that had spread to the attic, according to a fire department statement.
During the ordeal, one firefighter was hospitalized in fair condition, while another occupant of the house suffered minor smoke inhalation. It took a team of 94 firefighters over two hours to quell the blaze, though by then, the roof had collapsed, officials reported.
Delevingne, known for her role in “Carnival Row,” is currently engaged in the London production of “Cabaret.” Despite being away, she acknowledged the fire’s impact via Instagram Stories, expressing her heartbreak alongside a photo of her two cats and footage of fire trucks near her home. She extended gratitude to the firefighters, urging followers to value life’s fleeting moments.
Later updates from Delevingne reassured fans that her cats survived the ordeal. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the LAFD.
