French cinema legend Alain Delon passed away on August 18th at his home in Douchy, France, surrounded by his children—Alain-Fabien, Anouchka, and Anthony—and his beloved dog, Lupo. In a heartfelt statement, his family announced, “He peacefully passed away at his home in Douchy, surrounded by his three children.”
Though the cause of death wasn’t disclosed, Delon had been battling progressive lymphoma and Alzheimer’s disease. The actor had previously spoken about his struggle with loneliness and pain, even considering euthanasia in recent years.
In January 2024, a court restricted Delon’s legal capacity due to his health. His daughter, Anouchka, remained close to him throughout, sharing memories and honoring his spirit, saying, “Delon will always remain Delon.”
