A Little Old Lady Who Was Very Spiritual
A spiritual little old lady would step onto her porch every day, raise her arms, and shout, “Praise the Lord!”
One day, an atheist moved next door and grew irritated by her daily praises. After a month, he yelled back, “There is no Lord!”
Undeterred, she continued her routine. During a particularly harsh winter, the old lady couldn’t get to the store. She stood on her porch and prayed, “Help me Lord, I have no more money, it’s cold, and I have no more food.”
The next morning, she found three bags of food on her porch, enough for a week. She exclaimed, “Praise the Lord!” The atheist revealed himself from the bushes, saying, “Haha! There is no Lord, I bought those groceries for you!”
The old lady raised her arms again and shouted, “Praise the Lord, you sent me groceries and you made the Devil pay for them!”
